Great analysis of very specific details.

Even though "imagine" has good intentions behind it I didn't get behind the idea I thought I was just cynical thinking realistically that would never happen but then maybe Lennon didn't believe it would happen either but it was an expression of a better world. But what Notsylvia Night suggests is realistic in a sense that world order does not stay the same and when one fails to function people look for something new but the idea to go to the next stage is usually fraught with hardships because people who want to control everything will still exist before the change happens. I watched this documentary the other day about the fall of the Roman empire and the dark ages that followed in Europe, in a way it freaked me out how chaotic it became after the fall of that order and for centuries Europe was a horrible place in every way possible. So the question is when today's world order falls how can we prevent the chaos afterwards?

Very good! It's not realistic worldwide (entirely opposite thing is happening - concentration ir urban areas), but it would not be insane to hope for at least one country to engage community-based approach of state governing (or administration, as you call it).

The main problem, as I say see it, is science. There are scientifically proven "laws" which have to be enforced and if you do not disagree, then you are accussed of intentionally stopping the progress. Such Friedmanistic notice that "economics = science" justifies the rule of law. It is a pity. If a fisherman feels happy doing what he's doing from generation to generation, why would he have to go to work in factory so that he could live in a city and have more money even though scientifically his utility would increase? What if he doesn't want to, he's happy already?

This years Economics Nobel price winner Elinor Ostrom gave a scientific proof that communities are possible.

Rainbow Warrior
Thanks for the link.
I agree Israel indeed would have profited from the JFK assassination. And given Israel´s record on false-flag and other terrorist attacks, I wouldn´t be surprised, if Israel was the main-actor behind the scene.

I agree, with some of the premises of the linked article. We indeed should decentralize our economies, strive for as much local self-reliance as possible.
This would give people more influence on society and reduce the power of "global players". I also agree, that our consumer society, where people are pushed into buying things they don´t need is self-destructive.
However, I do think, that it isn´t advisable to go back to a pre-industrial society.
The problems of pollution can be solved by scientific progress. Germany has shown, that you can clean up air and water without giving up on modern industry.
A balance must be sought between local self-reliance and cooperation between communities within nations and internationally.
And the way I see it, this is exactly what is developing more and more, especially with the global hightech-tool the internet.
If we can keep the war-mongers from blowing up or burning down the world first, in a couple of decades we might see a world with far less pollution, but also one far more industrially developed, where everyone among the 9 billion people living then on then planet has access to electricity and clean water in their houses as well as to sufficient and nutritious food.

This is not a naive dream, this is actually the tendency we see in all developing countries, which are not plagued by war, wars which are most often instigated by foreign powers.
When a country has developed sufficiently economically, concern for environmental issues follow, and measures are taken to protect air- and water-quality. After a while wild-life will also become an issue.
The problem aren´t the people, the problem are the meddling elites.

First of all Andrew Bolt in this article only cites the research of others.
Second, if you take reflexively a position against something, just because someone you dislike has it, you save yourself a lot of thinking, do you?

brian
I can understand that you need to hold on to your global-warming belief-system. Environmentalists think of themselves as "the good guys", those who care about nature and all creatures.
The scientific facts about, however, have contradicted your beliefs on global warming for quite some time now, and so has simple observation. No matter how you want to spin it. Ad hominem attacks don´t change the facts.
The "Climate Change" myth is not about pollution, not about preserving nature, it´s about money and power and serves people who have a disdain for most human beings on earth: Malthusian intellectuals and the ultra-rich.

The creation of Israel, memorialized in 1916, was meant by its progenitors to be a long-standing device to support the domination of Persian oil, which after WWII was by the Anglo Americans. It was intended that Israel would be a balkanizing influence to prevent the creation of a pan-Arab state. That the military and political policies advance both interests simultaneously really goes without saying.

well, it was only a matter of time before powerful industrial interests would seek out fronts for their last ditch effort to sabve their investments...the mocumentary maker Martin Durkin, of Great Global Warming Swindler fame:

wasnt the best move as he was an obvious fraud. A better move is to use real live radicals...they are so much more persuasive.
Left wing radicals backing polluting industry....thats supoort you cant buy!

Andrew Bolt is a braindead knobjockey.

You can basically be right about anything by choosing a position completely opposite to his.
