EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana advocates the unilateral United Nations recognition of a Palestinian State.
It´s not quite clear in what borders this state is supposed to be recognized, but Solana does speak for the majority of European Union officials. They want a final solution for the problems of Israel and Palestine.
The European Union has always praised itself as an international institution which protects civil rights as well as human rights.
The EU has based it´s power-accumulation on the perception of being a force for good, for civil liberty and peace in the world. Until recently most people in Europe accepted this perception as real.
But the EU´s “special relationship” with the state of Israel has become an embarrassment. It shows far too clearly the Orwellian nature of the western term “human rights”.
The “special relationship” in the light of Israel´s public behavior is becoming more and more of a danger for the western elites´ long term goal of replacing elected national governments fully with unelected international institutions. (The European parliament seems more like a democratic fig leaf. It has indeed very little influence on the executive powers of the EU Commission)
To allow further concentration of power for EU institutions, the EU must keep the impression of “a champion for democracy, human rights and international peace”.
Pressuring Israel at least officially to allow the creation of a Palestinian state is an attempt by the power elites behind the EU institutions to uphold the benign image of the European Union.
But pressuring Israel diplomatically hasn´t worked too well in the past and it doesn´t seem to work in the present either.
There seems a far better and easier solution for the EU to get rid of this public embarrassment:
Why does the European Union not simply cut it´s ties with this small country, one which openly breaks all the international rules, the European Union publicly stands for?
After all, Israel is not located in Europe, it is not an European country and normally for that reason alone should never be able to apply for membership. With a population of only 7 Million people, the country will never be a major or important enough trade partner to make up for the negative influence it has on public opinion.
Nobody among Europe´s political elites even remotely thinks about this obvious solution. Suggesting it might have gotten the former Swedish foreign minister killed. But still, it´s not fear that prevents taking a united stand against the state of Israel. Doing that would make any assassination attempts worthless. If the danger of being hit by an Israeli covert operation would be acknowledged, officials could be successfully protected, far better than now, while Israel is officially an ally.
Cutting ties with Israel would be in the interest of most EU politicians, in the interest of the EU power-structure and in the interest of the majority population, which is threatened by possible acts of anger by Islamic minorities for Israel´s crimes against Islamic people in Palestine and in other surrounding countries.
Keeping that “special relationship” is counter-productive on all counts. So why do it?
This can only be understood, if we recognize what groups actually dominate EU decision making.
The EU was founded initially as a Common Market to allow trade without restrictions for the mutual benefit of all member states. The population of those member states was told, that such a mutual beneficial agreement would prevent any further wars in Europe. And, of course, this was what all the war-tired people of Europe wished for beyond anything else.
Later on the common market became a more political construct, acquiring more and more executive powers.
But once again the people were told that those rules set by unelected EU commissioners and their apparatus was only protecting the interests of the people, protecting air and water from further pollution and the public health from toxins or other hazards in the food.
While the restrictions became more and more of a burden for small and middle class companies, most people still accepted them as beneficial for human health and the environment.
The common currency was seen as a stabilizing factors which would make trade and travel still easier. The population of countries with less stable currencies were happy about this stabilization. Some countries populations rejected it. Others like Germany´s weren´t asked. But the margin between the pro- and contra- Euro people was nowhere very large.
In recent years however EU-skepticism is growing in all member-states, as well as in those states applying for membership.
More and more people realize that the European Union is far more an instrument of power for a financial and industrial elites than anything else.
Both the defeated EU constitution as well as the substitute for it, the Lisbon Treaty bear witness to this fact:
The interests of financial institutions are protected at all costs, while the interests of lower middle class and working class people are sacrificed.
And there we come to the crux of the matter:
For whatever reason the European Common Market or the European Union was founded initially, today it has become exclusively a tool of the financial elites.
And since 1815 when the Rothschild family took over the British Stock Exchange and the Bank of England after Napoleon´s defeat at Waterloo, a large part of this financial elitists claim to be followers of the Jewish religion or coming from Jewish families.
(The Rothschild family had for a long time rejected all tendencies of a more universal and egalitarian Judaism, where gentiles were considered as equals. This is the reason why they sponsored mainly fellow Jews into position of economic power, and only supporters of Jewish separatism into positions of political power.)
The Rothschild family were among the earliest supporters of Zionism. Zionist organizations were supported by Rothschild money and the money of people associated with the Rothschild financial empire.
Large parts of today´s financial elites have their roots in the Rothschild financial empire, and they are still followers of an ideology which proclaims Jewish exceptionalism.
These elites support a Jewish state in Palestine, that does not give non-Jews equal rights. They also support a Jewish state which is militarily stronger than all it´s neighbours combined.
Iraq stood in the way of this Israeli goal and has been eliminated, Iran is next on the list.
Those financial elites support the balcanisation of the Middle East for the purpose of weakening Israel´s neighbours and they support permanent suppression of Palestinian rights.
Some of those financial elites might even ascribe to the same ideologies as some of the Jewish extremists in Israel. They would like to turn Jerusalem into the “center of the world” by turning it into the financial center, relocating the major financial institutions from New York, London, Frankfurt, Tokyo there, possibly even relocating the Bank for International Settlements, which at the moment is located in Basel, Switzerland.
I don´t think that those Israel-supporting elites are the only powers behind the European Union, but they seem to be powerful enough to hinder other European power-brokers to do the reasonable thing of cutting ties with the criminal state of Israel.
Another evidence for the power, which pro-Israel elites wield on the European Union, is the European behavior towards Iran.
European member Great Britain has been caught red-handed in financing not only an attempted color-revolution in Iran, but also real violence and very ruthless terrorist groups.
Iran´s defensive reaction of those attempts of inner destabilization, a reaction which doubtless is repressive, is now being used by nearly all EU member-states to blacken Iran´s reputation even further. All this hurts the economical interests of all European member states and supports exclusively the interests of Israel, which campaigns for a general war against Iran, once again to weaken a larger neighbour and if possible cut up it´s territory into smaller pieces.
Supporting those goals is not in anybody´s interest in Europe, except in the interest of extremist Zionists. While the European Union with it´s actions supports Israel´s crimes and wars against the interests of everybody else in Europe it is quite clear, that Zionist elites wield more power over European institutions and media outlets than everybody else.
I know, mentioning Jewish power in Europe sounds “anti-semitic”, but while we are unable to face the facts, we will be unable to prevent the real bad consequences of the power-concentration in the hands of people who are ideological extremists with no regard for general ethics.
General ethics were behind the UN human rights declaration. Those ethics see all human beings as equal, deserving equal protection.
The European Union pretends to be a supporter of human rights. The EU´s “special relationship” to Israel and it´s support for Israeli goals proves this to be a lie.
